Year 3/3 of Falmouth Complete!

Full right up post about Falmouth coming soon but looking back on this past year and how much I have grown as an individual, producing 2 short graduate films, shooting on 8mm film for Straight 8 and 16mm film for the Kodak commercial competition, working with industry clients and professionals, helping out on a further 3 graduate short films, visiting both BBC Elstree centre and Elstree studios and continuing to stay creative.

Overall for the first time I’ve ever shot on film and myself and Esme’s directing debut, very happy with the result and how it came out.

While drinking buddies wasn’t selected as part of the top 25 of the entries for straight 8, I am incredibly proud of the team behind the project, who worked tirelessly throughout January to make it happen.

I can’t say thank you enough to my co-director .cornish. It was great to have our directing debut together on this weird folk story.

We can’t wait to share it with everyone in the coming months.

I had an amazing opportunity on Monday to stop by Twofour on my way back to Falmouth after the RTS awards, to drop my rushes off.

I got the chance to sit with the MCR team and see how they ingested the footage and had a little tour around their new office. I wished I could of stayed around longer before having to get back to Falmouth.

What an amazing night yesterday, filming the RTS West of England award ceremony, held at Bristol Old Vic. Throughout the night, I was capturing clips for the showreel and interviewing all of the winners.
