Neurodiversity has shaped my entire life.
I’m autistic and also have ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.
For many years I didn’t understand why some things seemed so much harder for me than for other people. Receiving my autism diagnosis at 28 helped me begin making sense of experiences I’d carried for decades.
Today I share my lived experience through talks and speaking engagements, helping people better understand what it can be like to navigate the world as a neurodivergent person.
My talks are honest, personal and rooted in real life. I speak about both the strengths and challenges of neurodivergence, from creativity and deep focus to sensory overload, masking and burnout. Most importantly, I hope to encourage greater understanding, compassion and inclusion.
Because neurodiversity isn’t something that needs fixing. It is simply a different way of experiencing the world.
Because understanding starts with listening, and kindness starts with understanding. 💛
