One to think about.

Is this the future for headshot photos, in fact, any photos? AI-created headshots have become astonishingly good. Some AI produce headshots so real you can't tell they're not real. What does that mean for the future of headshot photography? More importantly, though, what does that mean for you?

You're a real person, working in a real job. Trust and authenticity are vital to your role, your business image, and your integrity. We used to talk about the perils of stock photography, but this goes beyond the anonymous curtain and strides into deceit, fabrication and image fraud.

AI imagery has its place and offers tremendous potential, but when it comes to presenting yourself as real, surely a CGI, or is it now AIGI, needs a warning label.

I'm aware that 100 years ago, people said the 'talkies' would never take off. In the 90's, some thought the internet was a gimmick, and I am fully accepting that creative AI is here to stay and develop. We passed the point of no return a long time ago.

But does it mean we will have to state us as real?
