A couple of weeks ago, I packed up the studio on a day off and headed to Cambridge for a headshot shoot with a difference! What a grand afternoon it was, capturing this year's batch of the Cambridge Footlights before their 2026 Spring R***e (28 years after I was rehearsing for the very same yearly showcase).
I reckon all my headshots need more face pulling, more pointing, more bright colours and more denim!
"Don't Mind If I Do" is on at the ADC Theatre in Cambridge til Saturday, and I can't wait to see it tomorrow night! Go get 'em, kids! x

Sometimes, it’s all about the funny…
Anyone who knows me well is probably all too familiar with my passion for everything comedy and so it was an absolute delight to capture the amazing Caroline, in preparation for her stand-up debut.
We laughed and laughed and she made the studio light up with tales of gin and HRT.
Of course, you don’t have to be a performer to book a headshot session - it’s all about capturing the essence of you and celebrating who you are, whether as a surprise gift for a loved one, just for yourself or for no reason at all but the fun of it!

A little behind with this, but the biggest, biggestest congratulations to Theo for landing the part of Young Taka in the new Lion King movie, Mufasa!
I have loved photographing (and chaperoning) this fabulous young man over the past four years and can't wait to hear him on the big screen.
Professionally, I am beyond excited to see his headshots alongside those of Donald Glover, Beyonce, Mad Mikkelsen and Thandiwe Newton on IMDB :)

Whilst headshot sessions have a specific purpose, some of my favourite snaps are the informal, natural shots that happen in between proper takes.

Two posts in one week!
