A midweek pint of cask ale at The Moorbrook, North Road, Preston.

A pub absolutely oozing with character and traditional features, they have a great selection of cask and craft b**r. The more contemporary outdoor area to the rear of the pub has recently been spruced up and expanded, and the venue offers wood-fired pizzas, hosts live music events, and a weekly quiz.

Friday and Saturday exploring Blackpool during the colourful and vibrant Rebellion Festival Weekend. Rebellion is a large and independent Punk & Alternative music festival held over the course of several days at the Winter Gardens. The local pubs and bars were packed out, with many offering a full line-up of live music for people to enjoy.

The Tower Festival Headland was bustling, and every available seat and space was filled with people from Central Pier to Blackpool War Memorial and Cenotaph.
