This is not meant to be belittling in any way so if you feel that this id directed at you then forget that. but driving around, as many people do, I have seen several times, parents running out from between parked cars dragging their offspring with them.

Yeah, a couple of near misses and t***s which then caused agression from said "adult" in front of kids at that....(what does that teach them is another question?)

Anyway, to the point, not being one who accepts others labelling vocabulary, so I don't know what label the current generation wears now but once upon a time there were little educational films made unlike todays woke bo****ks these were about things like road safety....Tufty being one that springs to mind.

So here, perhaps for the benefit of generation whatever is one of the things that taught us normal people when we were kids. Take it on the chin and look after your own, it's just common bloody sense and we need it more now than ever before

Aplologies for the delay, our Priz tee shirts SHOULD be with us on Thursday.

I'm considering doing an article about this Legendary place that so many of us had so many great time is....but my own material isn't a hell of a lot, jobs mainly and of course, no mobile phones, no cameras on every person so for some of us....brilliant: No evidence!

So, anyone out there got photos or material that they'd like to share with the world?

Who'd like to write a paragraph or two to submit?

LET ME KNOW :D

No holds barred, I'm not going to tell lies nor permit much denial of some of the things that happened there....the whole truth please!

You can contact me on our day to day business page at Nik & Trick Photographic Services or even pop into the shop here in The Old High Street

I've decided to drum scan the original slide for even more outstanding quality and will then release just two more framed photographs of this....last two of 2026

Mounted and set in a hand made 20" x 16" frame of the best quality in town! £140 each is too little really for the amount of work that goes into presenting this unique photo

It's their home of generations, therefore it is their say. End of.

Trouble is that we have a weak government, susceptible to loud mouthed loonie left t***s who's ditch these poor people at the drop of a hat...ironically with no concern for the basic human rights of this population, rights that they shout so loudly about for any other cause.

Now is the time to get some of what remains of our proud forces down there to show that UK still champions democracy (despite another unelected PM :D )

There's more to it than just that, being the key to the resources of Antartica, it's special natural environment and it's strategic importance.

But it's their land, their decision has been made.

Sadly I have to quote the words of a Frenchman today when it comes to that decision, the flag they elected to raise:

"Because a flag is not just a piece of cloth… In the colours of the Union Jack, the crosses of Saint George, Saint Andrew and Saint Patrick come together. Your flag carries centuries of British history.

Under that flag, sailors crossed every ocean on Earth. Under that flag, soldiers fell on the battlefields of Europe. Under that flag, in 1940, a people refused to surrender to tyranny"

Thank my dear old mate Terry Smith for words and photos.

Message ends. ;-)

A panel of three vistas of Vesuvius over dock in Napoli....I made these lttle studies at different times of the day some years ago on a Baby Rollieflex using Efke 127 film.

Rotten scans from back in the day but I shall now look to properly rescanning this lovely memory

I am fully aware that there are a lot of folk in the area who have had this same photo as proof of delivery....with their parcels, like mine, potentially stolen by a rougue driver filling in perhaps for the one good driver that nice lady who ought to be running the company so poor is everything else to do with this insipid uncaring organisation.

Hello Sophie! :P

She could do better than current management but there again so couls Sooty and Sweep!

Today though I found that they have recently set up a FB page telling the world how brilliant they are.

Apart from the comedy on that page, you can also review them....so I have....make me feel better about having to sue them, yes that is happening ;-)

Rarely do I do go fund me things, I have however contributed to this one and am here encouraging you to do the same.

These families have last a breadwinner, (not a claimant) and I sincerely hope that this collection hits a few million.

A million quid doesn't go far these days, (£20.3m wasted on killing our town centre, killing jobs)

So you could say that part of the reason for my contribution is partly because of the above, because I am working class, by virtue of the fact that I have always worked.

Worked to survive, never been greedy, never been ambitious, my own failings but I hope that the nation from ground llevel up, now steps up and helps these two families.

I'm not commenting on the others, whom could well be not working class....having spent 20 years in public sector as an education you learn stuff you see...from my four generations unemployed at the time, now five probably yet the lefties call them working class despite almost none having done a days work ever. If you knew what I know then you'd be shocked to learn where so much of your tax money goes to. Not jesting here, and for the entilted, it's not enough, they demand more and more.

So, my contribution is based so that these tragic families can rebuild a life....but a million quid doesn't go far so you too should help some.

Greens, Reds....if you or anyone fails to support the Police over this then you need to go boil your heads. I mean it.

PC Matt Blades and PC Tom Clough were both dedicated and committed Police Officers… Carl Baker needs your support for PC Matthew Blades and PC Thomas Clough
