I spent a warm afternoon at Fowlsheugh this week and the cliffs are already heaving with life. Thousands of seabirds on the ledges, harr drifting in and out, and that full‑on cacophony of the seabird colony. A warm June visit to RSPB Fowlsheugh, where thousands of Kittiwakes, Guillemots, Razorbills, Fulmars and Herring Gulls crowd the sandstone cliffs. Early‑season behaviour, nesting activity, and the shifting sea harr create one of the north east’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles.
