BARN OWL// The closest I have been to a wild barn owl to date. I got lucky when this guy/girl landed around 10ft Infront of me on the fence I was leaning against. A quick point and shoot and this was the result. 5 seconds of wildlife memories

Moments like this In photography are what keep us coming back after the many failed attempts. The conditions were perfect and so was this Barn owl.
It’s also nice to see them looking healthy with all the wet weather we’ve had over the last couple of months

Water rutting in Bushy Park

Following from my morning In Richmond, I stopped off at Bushy Park
to see if there was much happening. And there certainly was!

As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by back and forth bellows from one stag to another. I had barely made it out of the car park after seeing a pair of stags battling in the pond. It was pretty intense as a large crowd gathered to watch the event. It was certainly one to remember

So for pretty much every wildlife photographer, this time of the year is rather exciting.

A couple of weeks a go I made my yearly visit to Richmond park. I was greeted with the most perfect conditions I could of asked for. The Morning started with plenty of low lying fog and the clear sky soon bought out an amazing sunrise.

Unfortunately, this was probably my only trip this year to the park, but it certainly wasn’t one to forget.

The rut has been and gone and I’m sure everyone is sick of bellowing deer shots. But here’s one from one of my visits to Richmond park this year. I had 2 trips this year and both times was very quiet In terms of rutting action but it’s still hard to come away without a shot

Red kites have to be one of my favourite birds, hands down. I watched this one circle over our garden before landing in a neighbours tree that sits directly over a pond. I decided to shoot through some leaves to add a bit of colour
