This is an unbelievable time when your baby is still so tiny and angelic. They will be curled up and sleeping all the time. ll no longer be possible. Within 6 weeks the change will be substantial and those moments will be gone. The idea of newborn photography is to capture those first incredibly magical days of a baby's life. The innocence and beauty in those brief first days. If the baby is healthy and mum is doing well, Georgina prefers to photograph in the first week. During this time the baby is still very sleepy and most pose-able. Her style is real, simple, classic and organic looking. Although she does use some simple props in some of her photographs, she believes that the focus should be on the newborn itself — capturing the character and attributes of your baby in its first days of life. Please try and book your session as far in advance as possible. Ideally 3 months or so before your due date. Unless you are having a scheduled C-section, you are not going to know when your baby will be born. Your due date will be put in the diary. Georgina will leave time in her schedule around the date to ensure she can schedule your session. As soon as baby is born, please have someone contact her so we can arrange your shoot within those precious first 10 days.
