Open Minds Active is a Bristol based CIC, aiming to reduce health inequalities within communities by widening access to nature and blue spaces.

I recently spent the morning with them, creating a bank of images and videos that share the sense of belonging and confidence they cultivate through their welcoming group swimming courses 🏊🏽‍♀️

Maggy, the founder, asked me to make a cohesive set of portraits of the team members, alongside lifestyle imagery of the swimmers in action - both anonymous and in all their post-swim smiley glory ☀️

The team were keen for me to lean into my documentary approach - catching the action as it unfolds and seeing the small moments and details that can float away all too easily (pardon the pun 😎)

From box to bowl…

I’ve been LOVING veg boxes from for a few weeks now and goodness me, they are beyond delicious.

It’s so lush to have fresh, chemical free veg harvested from their no-dig market garden no more than 24 hours before it’s in my hands.

Each box also comes with a thoughtful letter and a recipe and I’ve been obsessed with the vinaigrette that came in this one!

I drizzled it over their mixed salad leaves, which I served with pesto made from their basil and some cashews, with their fresh peas on top 🫛

A perfect garden dinner for these sunny evenings 🥰

You can choose weekly, fortnightly, or one-off boxes, even adding on other local items like Higher Farm’s Ketchup. They’ll be delivered straight to your door too if you’re in Frome and surrounding areas 🙏🏽

I don’t even know where to start with talking about SISTALAND FESTIVAL, so here’s some photographs that tell the story way better than words can right now.

It’s going to take a minute for all this gorgeousness to really sink in. The new friends I made, powerful workshops and rollercoaster of emotions we went through together go far beyond what I expected 🧡
