Twenty years ago, I photographed my first wedding in Galway. Today, I photographed my last.
And what an incredible twenty years it’s been.
I’ve photographed couples through engagements, weddings and growing families. I’ve photographed brothers and sisters, cousins and friends, and sometimes found myself returning to the same houses again and again as another wedding came around. I’ve watched the wedding world change enormously over two decades and my own photography change along with it.
Most of all, I’ve had the privilege of being invited into thousands of people’s lives and sharing their joy.
So I just want to say thank you.
Thank you to every couple and family who trusted me with your memories over the years. Thank you to all the brilliant wedding suppliers I’ve worked alongside throughout Galway, Mayo and Clare, many of whom have become dear friends. Thank you to everyone who recommended me, supported my little business, followed my work, or welcomed me back into their family for another celebration.
Photography gave me a career I loved, took me to some beautiful places and introduced me to some wonderful people and I’m truly grateful for all of it.
