Infrared photography continues to facinate me... with such interesting results... here is a recent shot from my bedroom window during the last heatwave. This scene lasted no more that 5 mins! Never to be seen again no doubt! Fire clouds!!!

This is the magical Llyn Dywarchen in Eryri, with fast moving dabbled clouds... what a day!

So another workshop completed and some very happy people heading back across the pond after an introduction to the beauty of North Wales, with my old friend John Barclay Photography. It was such a joy to reconnect in person again. Here is an IR shot from Penmon point, a magical place, an intimate scene we found on a beatiful spring day!

It was a beautiful morning so finally dragged my backside out of bed and headed for Fairy Glen, outside Betws-y-Coed. Bit of a hairy decent to get there, and just arrived as the light was kicking off... the water was on a mission, as the mountain run off continued it's decent after the recent rains!

Met some new photo buddies, who were very generous with their time and everyone had a blast.

Worth the effort, this place never disappoints!

After a rough couple of weeks/months there might be some light out there after all! With that in mind just taking a new look at something dismissed can produce something fresh... this is the Wonderful Ynys-y-Pandy on an early Spring day with Grahame Morgan. A great fun day that produced this too!

So while trawling some of my old work, came across this beautiful specimen and thought he should say hello.

The image is from Richmond park, a few years ago trying not to spook him as the rutting season was just around the corner. Mother nature is truly magical.
