You can pick up a copy of the Shawfield Dog Track, my photozine about the decline of the last greyhound racing stadium in Scotland, at the Glasgow Zine Fest this weekend at the CCA. It will be on the Community table along with the one about St Peter’s Seminary (that includes images recently exhibited by The Glasgow Gallery of Photography.) The event is more than just a fair so be sure to take a look at the profile page for the full programme. The sellers are the coolest people and I guarantee you’ll have a great time.

The Barras Market is a Glasgow institution yet retains a shady mythology. I wanted to create a project that updated this image of our local independent market through a series of five photo essays about the women stallholders that are helping to regenerate the market and develop communities in the east end and across Glasgow⁠.

I bought myself a new iPhone, a refurbished 13 Pro, and this is the first picture I’ve taken with it. I wanted a camera phone that produces RAW files. I got a Pro because TechRadar says they are good for photography, and I chose a 13 because they are cheaper than 14s even on Back Market
