Some of my favourite shots from spring so far, taken just a couple of weeks ago. Having had a beautiful misty sunrise at the bluebell woods, we were on our way home when I came across this woodland full of these gorgeous beech trees. The greens were just so vibrant and with the mist it just looked so dreamy!

An image from a gorgeous misty morning at Loch Ard, one of my favourite spots to go to in these kinds of conditions. Loved the soft painterly like feel to this scene and the reeds which I thought complimented the island nicely. Definitely going to get a few visits in here over the summer, in hopefully similar conditions!

Delighted to announce my image 'The Guardian' was commended in this years The Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year competition! (https://slpoty.co.uk/landscapes-2023/). First time I've ever had one of my photos recognised in a photography competition so to say I'm over the moon is an understatement. Hopefully this is a first of many more to come! 😁

As we approach the end of 2022 here's some of my personal favourite images taken throughout the year (believe me I had a hard time choosing! 😂). What a class year it has been, not just in terms of my photography but other life events, mainly graduating from university and having the opportunity to travel and see many places around the UK alongside my girlfriend.
