Introducing the Gile Solaris Film Museum, celebrating Scotland’s rich cinematic legacy! This project aimed to inspire future filmmakers and enthusiasts by showcasing Scotland’s contributions to film, TV, and new media 🎬
Inspired by Gaelic “Gile Solaris” (Radiant Light), our logo features a Celtic sun motif and Avenir Next typeface for a timeless look, reflecting historical significance and contemporary vibrancy🌞
The 32-page self-bound brochure, inspired by design, featuring beautiful sapphire blue 175gsm, with both candy pink and pristine white papers at 135gsm emphasises clear type hierarchy and cohesive image treatment with artisan-quality materials.
Image treatment inspired by Man Ray’s solarisation technique, using Photoshop and Inklab for a gritty, stylised but cohesive feel.
