The final round of this year’s Scottish Rally Championship, let’s give it the support it deserves!

Regulations for the 51st Galloway Hills Rally have been released by co-promoters Solway, Machars and East Ayrshire Car Clubs.

The event will again be a scoring round of Scotland’s premier mixed surface rally series, the Asset Alliance Motorsport UK Scottish Rally Championship, and we also look forward to once again welcoming competitors from the HRCR Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship.

The event would not be possible without the cooperation and assistance of our local Forestry & Land Scotland team, and the enthusiastic support of our individual Event Partners and loyal local suppliers.

A small army of volunteers is required for the smooth and safe running of all events, and we are extremely grateful to the Marshals, Radio Operators, Stage Safety Personnel, and everyone else who will assist on the event.

It’s no secret that numbers are continuing to decline on gravel events in Scotland, which makes planning an event of any sort very difficult. We hope we can count on your support, and we look forward to welcoming Competitors, Marshals and Spectators to join us on some of the best stages south west Scotland has to offer for the 51st year of competition and camaraderie at “the Hills”.

Entries for the the 51st Galloway Hills Rally will open on Friday 21st August at 8pm.
