I took the Nikon out for a walk last Monday around one of my favourite places. The sun was shining and we weren't disappointed - the flowers were blooming, and there were so many bees, butterflies, dragonflies and even a heron that posed for some photos. I have been meaning to go and get some photos for a while and finally I managed it. Our beautiful Olympic legacy lives on!

Finally I am up close and personal with the lovely mini gymnasts with my Nikon and they didn't disappoint! Here are some of my photos from the second tier in the SSE Hydro in Glasgow from last week. 12 hours of gymnastics and I only took around 1200 photos....! A lot were blurry as my camera is fast but not as fast as this lot, but when they were still, I was able to capture the moments! An amazing few sessions in Glasgow and don't worry, more photos to come! :)

A rare opportunity to be able to take photos inside St Paul's Cathedral and I wasn't going to pass it up. Armed with my wide angle lens, and using it properly for the first time, and I am really pleased with the results. I have taken photos inside St Paul's before at a previous event like this, but the photos I took this time were beautiful. So much more in each photo than previously.

AMAZING photos, absolutely capturing a moment which I love the most about photography! I would absolutely love to be Yuri Cortez being in the very thick of it, and getting unique images like these. Total photography goals right there! :)

Photographer Yuri Cortez was sent tumbling to the ground as players piled on top of him after Mari Mandzukic scored the 2-1 goal that dumped England out of the World Cup and took Croatia to the final.

I enjoyed a day at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on a chilly but sunny December day with some friends. We took in a tour of the London Stadium and headed up The Orbit for sunset and it didn't disappoint!

I was very lucky on Tuesday to be right in the flight path for the flypast to commemroate 100 years of the Royal Air Force. I remembered the Red Arrows flew over our office in 2012 when Team GB had a hero's welcome at Buckingham Palace so brought my Nikon into work to see the magnificent men in their flying machines and we weren't disappointed! Enjoy!

I had been looking forward to this exhibition for ages, and went along in March 2018 to see the pretty cars. It was amazing to see the Ferrari history, along with the different stages each car goes through in design and build. It was also amazing to be in such close proximity to Michael Schumacher's driving kit and car. Forza Ferrari!
