A huge congratulations to Sarah & Ryan who got married at the weekend… and what an awesome day it was!

The Pearce Institute in Govan, Glasgow hosted this amazing event. Such a cool spot with loads of great locations to explore. Bridges, old cinemas and even rooftops… where I may or may not have done a Dick Van D**e impression.

S&R are such a brilliant couple and we were made to feel so welcome and part of the party. Congratulations & Ryan Stewart

This wedding photography review is why I love my job so much. I’m not crying, you’re crying! 😭

“We were absolutely delighted with our wedding photos! From the moment we met David, he made us feel completely at ease, which was especially important as having our photos taken was something we were both quite nervous about.

As we both now live in Belfast, it was really important to us to have photos that captured where I grew up, and David absolutely nailed it. He captured iconic Glasgow perfectly, with some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks featuring beautifully in our photos. Before the wedding, we joked with David that we didn’t have many photos together, and now our only problem is that we have far too many amazing ones to choose from!

David also put in an absolute shift on the day. So many of our guests commented on how hard he worked, as well as how friendly, approachable and easy to get on with he was. He managed to capture everything so naturally, from the big moments and all the little details, to expressions, emotions and special moments, some of which we had actually missed ourselves on the day.

He was also incredibly quick at getting the photos back to us. Within a day or so, we already had some amazing teaser photos to enjoy, and it wasn’t long after that before we received the full gallery and slideshow.

Looking through the photos has allowed us to relive the whole day, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to capture it for us. You would be incredibly lucky to have David photograph your special day. We cannot recommend him enough!!

An elopement in Scotland amongst the hills and lochs.

Heather & Chris travelled up to Scotland from waaaay down south to get married in private at the beautiful Woodside Lodge

They kept it simple. Just the two of them… oh and Stoney their energetic German Shepherd (see final pic).

A secret proposal in Scotland like no other… and she said YES!!! Mountains, abandoned castles and two awesome people.

Whitney & Alan traveled to Scotland from San Francisco and Alan had a trick (or should I say ring) up his sleeve.

After lots of scheming with Alan, the plan was for me climb up Conic Hill just ahead of them and lead Alan to the viewpoint. I then had to pretend to be a keen hiker with a camera and leap into action when he got down on one knee.

After the big moment, we climbed to the top, went to the beach and explored Buchanan Castle for some post-I do portraits.

Such a great day with two amazing people. Congratulations guys!

Ever thought about getting married in a Scottish castle? Well that’s exactly what Gillian & Ricky did… and not just any castle, the iconic Eilean Donan Castle.

It was a pleasure to drive up through the glens and around some of Scotland’s most scenic lochs and mountains to photograph such a beautiful celebration.

Fabs & Ryan!! It’s wedding gallery delivery day! 🕺 🎉

It’s been so cool reliving this awesome and unique wedding on my screen, so I hope that they can sit back with a nice bottle of something and enjoy it too.

You don’t get to tour around Edinburgh in a vintage red bus every day. Another experience, another adventure and another reason why I love being a wedding photographer so much!
