I had this song picked for Emma & Rory from the minute I watched Emma walk down the aisle in the most beautifully prepared walled garden of BackhouseRossie.

In total awe of the gardens, the ceremony space and listening as their family sang the most beautiful song it brought it all home that this is what weddings are about.

It’s about marrying your best friend - forgetting social media pressures and running to each other in moments of pure happiness.

There’s just something about a farm wedding that makes me so excited !!

Charlotte & Connal turned the farms cattle shed into the most beautiful place for their ceremony and wedding reception which soon followed a dance party in the courtyard.

Lead up to the top of the hill by tractor and trailer to celebrate their first dance where Connal proposed to Charlotte making this easily one of the most romantically thought out weddings yet.

Sarah & Owen in the biggest party yet at the incredible The Barn at Barra Castle and what a party it was!

Celebrating their wedding day in entirely their own way it was nothing short of spectacular with florals decorating every corner of the room.

Shooting 2026 weddings like it’s a 90s film is quickly becoming one of my favourite things to do.

With so many of you incredible people out there now adding on my film package to your day it seems a perfect time to post and chat about my favourite 3 part wedding day - Kim & Carl.

We started in Luss for a beautiful ceremony at Luss parish church where only the most important people to them had travelled up from down south to witness their ceremony and follow them across country.

We followed onto the beach for some beautiful photographs at their usual spot and then walked to the coach house for a soup stop.

We made way to the rest and be thankful and finished off at the George hotel in Inveraray while we wandered the pier and took in the beautiful evening light.

Kim is a huge lover of film and it was used a lot throughout her day to compliment her gallery.

I cannot wait for an anniversary trip to Glencoe followed by lunch with these two. Friends for life.

Go ahead and hate me …. Call me a bad photographer if you must but romanticising editing your previews is never a bad thing.

I LOVE editing your previews. Your whole gallery if I am being honest.

However this comes at a cost of patience, of delayed gratification and allowing time for ‘The best is yet to come’.

Love wasn’t ever meant only for social media, for a rushed post announcing to world you have wed.
The most important people in the world to you bore witness during your wedding day right by your side.

If you eloped … I’m sure a few days of bliss of it being just you two reminiscing is a dream ☁️✨.

You have a lifetime with your wedding photographs… allow me a few days to love them. ❤️
