Neutrals are requested so much in the studio lately, and I absolutely love them. They’re soft, timeless and will never date.

But then I get a client who says, ‘I love colour!’

And I’m immediately like… OH, I love colour too!! 😂

Honestly, I don’t think I could choose. Give me all the soft creams and warm neutrals, but every now and then, give me that gorgeous pop of colour too! 💛🩷

And this beautiful girl suited them all, how stunning is she?!

There are some images I know I’m going to love before I’ve even finished creating them… and this was definitely one of them.

Milena was happy to let me get creative during her maternity session, and when I brought out the angel wings, I knew I wanted to create something a little more dramatic for her.

I love giving my maternity clients a real mixture of images. Some soft and simple, some outdoors when the weather allows, and then something completely different like this.

Because your maternity photos don’t all have to look the same.

Sometimes it’s nice to create that one image that makes you stop scrolling and look twice.

And I think Milena absolutely nailed this one!

You’ll often hear me singing in the studio trying to get a smile... Baby Shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo... 😂

But in little Ronin’s case, he definitely didn’t need to hear my singing! He was more than happy to do all the smiling himself. ❤️

I was lucky enough to photograph his mummy’s maternity session before he arrived, and now I’ve had the pleasure of having this gorgeous little man in my studio too.

One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to see families come back and being able to capture each new stage of their story.

From photographing Ronin before he was even born, to now getting to capture that gorgeous little smile, I’ve loved every minute of it. ❤️

Meet little Elijha, who came into the studio for his very first photoshoot.

He was wide awake for the whole session, happily watching everything I was doing. He was so content, and those gorgeous big eyes were taking it all in.

It's easy to see why this was one of his mummy's favourite images. I just love how curious he looks.

After getting home from my holiday, the studio has been busy every single day.

It's been so busy that I've neglected getting my images online, but tonight I'm starting with this beautiful maternity session. Mum-to-be came to the studio with a few ideas, then trusted me to do the rest.

I absolutely love how these images turned out, and I can't wait to welcome them back to the studio soon with their little one. ❤

I have been on the most wonderful journey with this beautiful family, and I have loved every minute of capturing each milestone in their journey to a family of four ❤🥰❤🥰

My gorgeous client Kelly in the studio for her maternity session! ❤

I absolutely love it when the weather is kind enough for us to head outside and capture a few photographs too. It gives us such a lovely mix of images from the session.

I'm so excited because next year I'll be creating a beautiful garden behind the studio. It'll become a dedicated space for maternity and family sessions, with lots of natural backdrops and gorgeous light. I can't wait to bring this little dream to life and share it with you all!
