I am making an effort to spend more time out with my camera, and this evening I visited one of my favorite locations, which certainly did not disappoint. The sunset over Arran was captured using the leading lines of the pier at Portencross to create a striking composition. The image was taken with my Fujifilm X-H2, ensuring exceptional detail and clarity.

Here’s a selection of Red Arrows shots taken with my Fujifilm X-H2 and 50-140mm lens. It was a fantastic day out—even though the weather wasn’t ideal, I still managed to capture a few great shots. There are still more to sort through, but what an incredible show it was.

With an abundance of photographs to review, these are just a handful of my favorite shots from the International Ayr Show Festival of Flight. They capture the remarkable performances of The Lady Wing-walkers, the precision and skill of the Red Arrows, and the impressive presence of the USAAF C-130J.

With autumn approaching, I ventured out yesterday with my camera. I enjoyed a scenic drive to Rannoch Station and made a stop at the Linn of Tummel trail. In just over a month, this area will be adorned with stunning autumn colors. I will definitely be returning to this location, but for now, here is the River Garry, situated along the Linn of Tummel trail.

It was a delightful day spent at the Edinburgh Fringe, where I had the opportunity to witness some truly remarkable street performers. This collection showcases moments captured with my Fujifilm X-H2, as I experimented with the 85mm Viltrox lens to explore its capabilities in capturing vibrant and dynamic scenes.

Over the last few days I’ve enjoyed a lovely trip around the North Coast 500. I’ve seen some amazing spots with breathtaking vistas and beautiful beaches. We had two brilliant days of sunshine and I even stumbled upon an old spot I’d photographed a few years ago. After a good walk around, I finally found my composition.

This is Moine House, built in 1830 as a shelter for travellers crossing the moors of Sutherland, Scotland. It offers visitors stunning views and fascinating history about the family that once owned it. Even parts of the old road still run alongside the abandoned house.

After a couple of days, I finally got to test out my new car on a scenic six-hour drive to Nest Point Isle of Skye. The goal was to capture a breathtaking sunset as the sun bathed the cliffs and lighthouse in golden light.

Having visited this location many times, this was the first time the weather and winds aligned perfectly. I patiently waited for the light to pass through the clouds, painting the scene with a wonderful glow.

I shot the entire scene on my Fujifilm X-H2 with a 16-55mm lens and a ten-stop K&F Concept filter
