A short video of the Jacobite train passing over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. This is the train and location used for the external shots of the train to Hogwarts in the Harry Potter Movies.

Glenfinnan Viaduct is located along the A830, about 120 miles from Glasgow, and 18 miles from Fort William. It was constructed in 1901, and spans 21 arches with a total length of 381m.

It is located across the road from the Glenfinnan Monument, 18m high monument topped by a lone Highlander. Erected in 1815, this monument in memory of Highlanders who laid their lives during the Jacobite uprising.
