The McCorrys 🪩

When we first got chatting when they booked me, we hit it off from the get go and I knew Carla was going to make sure the day was nothing short of epic! The couple kept true to themselves and incorporated their love of music (and the famous Barrowlands) into their day.

Conor organised a special shout out montage from some of Carla’s faves such as and - needless to say the room was roaring!

They kicked off their evening celebrations with the amazing and a bit of singalong (Queen Kylie of course).

All the colour, all the fun, all day long 💖

How lucky was I to have not one, but two weddings in the highlands at the weekend? I mean, what were the odds?!

First up, Dawn & Alistair’s pretty pink wedding at - I audibly gasped when I seen the rhododendron’s in full bloom, complimenting the fuschia theme. Even better, it was a surprise to Dawn too. And those bouquets by .studio were the most stunning addition 💐

Then of course, the best feedback from Dawn, who told me she cried when I told her I was available for her day 🥹:
“I can’t stop looking at the pics!! Honestly so in love with them, thank you so much. You were such a joy to have around on the day too, so chilled and good vibes, which was great when I was getting stressy 😂 honestly everyone was saying how great you were.”

This feedback means the world to me as it’s exactly how I hope I come across on your wedding day 💖

With a wildflower theme to match the couples adventurous nature their warm, carefree personalities, nothing was going to dampen their day! I had my doubts about going down to the beach, but Ananda had enlisted the best man and his jeep to get us there, and I’m SO glad she did. It was absolutely worth it.

This venue also feels very unique; like having your own big house for the weekend but with the help of amazing staff to help the wedding details flow without a hitch. Very relaxed, homey and do it your own way vibes!

I particularly loved how involved everyone wanted to be in Ananda & Craig’s day, with Craig’s aunt Stella being the celebrant and their cousin making the gorgeous cake.
