DAY 19 - ADVICE
I've got tons of advice, I'll write a book one day - But the main one that might be a hot take (And feel free to comment) - Get Married earlier in the day. ESPECIALLY in winter.
Had loads of 2pm ceremonies this year, which gives less time between the ceremony ending and sit down for dinner - that's the time to squeeze in family photos, couple shoot, and most importantly, chatting to your guests!
Sure you get an extra hour or so to get ready, but would you not rather have an extra hour with EVERYONE?
I think the main argument is hair and make up if you have a big wedding party, but happy to hear other arguments!
So aye, get married earlier ⏰

DAY 16 - THE INBETWEEN
So this is the bit where you get the best emotions and the best candids. Between the ceremony finishing and the call to dinner.
Whether it's the couple taking a minute to themselves or getting real hugs and kisses, or guests getting the selfies, or kids finally being let off the leash it's nice to just take a big step back and document human life for a wee bit.

DAY 9 - Black & White
I LOVE a black and white, but I'm also super picky with them. I pepper them through galleries and only choose images where I want to slow the viewer down.
My galleries are sorry driven, documentary style, so when I want people to stop and drink it in, I chuck in a wee black and white. I take so much more time over them, actually find it quit therapeutic!
When I first started doing photography it was all on Black and White film, so I've got a real love for it. A proper black and white isn't just a photo turned grey scale (they make me sick!) and when a black & white is done well I love it.
