I’ve been quiet lately, not because I had nothing to say, but because my mind has been carrying a thousand thoughts at once. Life felt crowded with movement, noise, and endless demands.
Then, unexpectedly, I was injured.
At first, I was frustrated forced indoors, resting my foot, watching the world continue without me. But in the stillness, something shifted. What felt like an interruption began to feel like an invitation.
I’ve spent these days studying, reflecting, and wandering through photographs I had long forgotten little fragments of moments I left behind. And as I revisit them, I realize this pause was not a setback, but a gift.
Sometimes life slows us down when we would never choose to stop ourselves. Sometimes healing is more than recovery it is the quiet space needed to reconnect with who we are, where we’ve been, and what truly matters
