"Trench life"
The Little People created this image to pay homage to the fallen from not only WW1 but also WW2.
It's a World War 1 scene, created using a sandbag split open to make the trench. The soldiers are model railway figures and to create the smoke, I put matches into the sand and then set them alight, once they were blown out the smoke was used to add an atmospheric feel to try to recreate a WW1 trench.
