It’s normally all about my clients on my grid, but this one is about me. Hello! 👋🏻

📷 Personal Brand Photographer - here to capture you in your zone of genius (ya know - when your passion for your biz is flowing and that energy magnetically attracts your kind of people) I absolutely love supporting women in business and capturing images that match their passion and personality.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Married to a digital & tech nerd and we had some kids, only one of us is blonde, it’s not me (gotta role with the emoji’s you’re given).

🤓 In my fourth year of a theology degree. Might just be a little bit nerdy myself. I’m here for the deep philosophical conversations too!

🌊 I grew up in Durban, South Africa. The ocean is my absolute happy place but my kids refuse to move! So rude. Jokes aside! Genuinely love the community I’m a part of - just wish I could lift it up and plant it by the coast.

🍸 Give me a vodka & gin lychee martini and we will be solid friends.

☕️ I’m an insufferable person who apologetically orders a “decaf oat mocha please”… it’s a child’s drink I know. But you like what you like 😂

🤪 I’m a bit of clown (clown emoji is too creepy). My kids will attest that I’m just a little bit weird and love making them laugh by being silly.

SOCIAL MEDIA BREAK

Temporarily breaking from all my social media, including my business accounts. Accounts will be active but I won’t be logged on.

Right now they are not serving my needs. So I’m off to think and plan and make sure that the way I use social media meets my needs or if I need it all at the moment.

It was an absolutely joy to take Penny’s headshots earlier this week at her beautiful home. She’s effervescent!

Penny is the CEO of StandOut, an organisation whose mission it is to see that “more people leaving prison are empowered to transform their own lives, realise their potential, and escape the justice system for good.”

Hey friends! First time sharing my own face on the grid 💁🏻‍♀️

I’ve been quiet on Instagram for the last few months. That’s been intentional. I’ve been working really hard on my business 📷 I have pivoted from having a wide offering to focusing solely on personal branding. I am so energised and excited to begin sharing my work with you all over at .branding - I’d love it if you’d give me a follow ✨

2 years ago I acted on a long held dream to start my own photography business. I very quickly realised that taking gorgeous photos is 10% of being a professional photographer.

There are so many aspects to running a flourishing business that are happening when my camera is not in my hands. The main two I’ve been working on are:

✨Mindset (that’s the biggie)

👩🏻‍💻 Setting up a sustainable client focused service

Did you know - 85% of new photography businesses fail 😳. That’s a lot of talented, passionate people hanging up their cameras. It makes me sad and also determined to create rhythms in my life that set me up for long term success.

👥 What I’m learning is it takes a village to flourish. This is a core value at the heart of my personal branding photography service - being my clients biggest cheer leader and helping them flourish.

I’m at the beginning of my journey, but I am so excited to bring you all along for the ride. ❤️

I love a wedding!! Just going to put this out there, I’d love to photograph more weddings!!✨

So difficult to choose just 10 pics from this gorgeous family shoot! I may also post a reel because I love the pictures so much! 😍

When Alena got in touch with me on Wednesday morning to capture some maternity photos asap as babes could make an appearance any day - I immediately made space in my day, we shot these photos in our local town that same afternoon. We even managed to fit in some with her hubby & son and it turned into a fun mini family shoot.

This is such an important time and one thing I personally regret is not getting any professional maternity photos (anyone else?).

📍If you’re local to Guildford and perhaps put off getting maternity photos for one reason or another and would actually love some professional photos - please do get in touch, I’ve got your back✨

I loved capturing some candid photos of this utterly gorgeous family at a garden party in the summer. We might be heading into colder Autumnal days 🍂, but I’m still hanging onto those hot days (I’m a summer baby through and through).

Autumn does provide stunning family photos though which are 🍂😍and are totally my favourite to photograph. I still have availability in October! Limited weekend slots, more flexibility on week days.
