Mr & Mrs Doig

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the wedding of Mr & Mrs Doig.

A day filled with Jimmy Choo, Tiffany gifts, a sentimental fire axe presentation, incredible guests, and, above all, so much love.

Also - all weddings need a Flower OAP (Loved that)!

Sometimes it's important to remember that your happy ever after doesn't always happen when you expect it to. These two first met at primary school, and after more than 40 years, life brought them back together to rekindle what was meant to be.

Proof that love has its own timeline, and that the best things really do come to those who wait.

Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Doig. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.

Yesterday brought the hottest day of the year so far... blazing sunshine, soaring temperatures, and a real challenge for any photographer.

But Kyle & Gracie absolutely owned it. Every smile, every glance, every moment was pure magic, proving that love shines even brighter than the summer sun.

A huge thank you to The Chequers for keeping this photographer hydrated throughout the day. A little reminder to all couples planning summer weddings: your suppliers are out in the heat for long hours making your day unforgettable, so a cold drink and a little care go a long way - I'm blessed with the best.

The day was made even sweeter with a stunning wedding cake by Nan's Nice Cakes (aka Lisa), and it was a pleasure working alongside such a fantastic content creator.

From incredible hair and makeup artists to beautiful venue styling, amazing band, wonderful guests, and a couple who made every frame unforgettable... it was one of those weddings that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

What more could you ask for?

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE BELTER OF A WEEKEND!

Not only were we blessed with this incredible heatwave, but I also had the honour of capturing TWO very special celebrations this weekend.

Friday brought something completely new and incredibly exciting for me — a beautiful West African pre-wedding ceremony. Unfortunately I don’t have sharing rights for those images, so I can’t show you just how stunning it was… but wow, what an experience! ️

Then on Saturday, Richard & Lucy two wonderful vet folk, tied the knot at the utterly breathtaking Normanton Church in Rutland, and honestly… what a day! The sun was absolutely scorching, and the newlyweds surprised their guests with the most picture-perfect drinks reception aboard the Rutland Belle

To make it even more magical, guests were treated to a string quartet playlist featuring classic songs from bands like Linkin Park — and trust me, hearing those arrangements drifting across the water sounded INCREDIBLE.

The celebrations then continued at the stunning Hanbeck Farm in Wilsford, and in weather like this, that courtyard genuinely feels like something straight out of the South of France!

Have I reminded you all recently just how much I absolutely LOVE my job?!

Social media may be a little quieter than usual right now because we’re deep into peak wedding season editing, and I’ve also been lucky enough to work on a few amazing projects that aren’t available for social sharing.

But just because the socials are quiet… definitely doesn’t mean I’m not busy
