I’ve had the most amazing 2 day birthday.
Early start trip to Heathrow yesterday as my big brother Paul Whitehouse & Louise Whitehouse flew all the way from Australia to celebrate my 50th birthday.
Post flight cuppa in the garden when we got home. Bob a dog was a good boy & only had minor grizzlies. A lovely dinner out in the evening with the rest of the clan.
Today started with a cuppa in bed & a lovely opal necklace from Malcolm Robert Parnell. Followed by a 500 yard dash up the road after the dog in my stocking feet, when he escaped.
The rest of the day was spent punting along the river in Cambridge. A quick trip to the yard to see my precious unicorn, Kimi.
Then another lovely dinner with all the family Millie Whitehouse, Jessica Whitehouse, Kevin Whitehouse and thank you Lisa Whitehouse for the birthday cake with the enormous sparkler.
All in all a lovely way to spend a birthday.
And there’s more to come tomorrow ✈️

UPDATE ❤️ NANCY IS NOW ADOPTED

NANCY NEEDS A NEW HOME NOW!
Hello l just wanted to introduce myself ... my name is Nancy. I can’t lie until recently life hasn’t always been kind to me, it’s been tough ... thankfully that all changed when l was rescued and last month l was lucky enough to be travel to the U.K. l have been staying with my fabulous foster mum and dad ... while l wait for my forever family to find me and fall in love with me. I am trying very hard to be patient ... but l was hoping you might help, by sharing my post so they can find me a little bit quicker.

Nancy is only approx 2/3 yrs old. She is spayed & her vaccinations are all up todate. She is good in the house, loves her humans, sleeps and eats well and loves company. She would suit an active home with or without another dog. She is a big clumsy girl and is still basically a puppy who loves to play but due to her size she can be very strong and when she has a mad 5 minute zoomie, so would love a nice size garden. If she was to go with another dog then she needs a dog similar in size and sadly no young children as she may unwittingly knock them over in her enthusiasm. She really does not have a nasty bone in her body, she is just a bit gawky and clumsy. She walks amazingly well on the lead and doesn’t pull but she is fascinated by birds and other small furries in the trees, so not best suited to live with a cat. She needs someone who can give her the time and training she needs to blossom even more .

This is a link to a just giving page for a friend of mine whose wife sadly passed away recently Kate had cystic fibrosis as condition she was born with and had to fight her whole life. Kate was extremely positive and brave and never complained about a thing a true inspiration to anybody who was lucky enough to know her.
