It's road trip weekend. Today photo stops in Crewe and the Potteries. Saturday it's the North West Train & Transport Collectors in Crewe. Sunday down to Barry for the Festival of Transport. Then Monday more photo stops (to be decided) on the way home.

Busy weekend with two events. On Saturday we will be at Crewe for the North West Rail & Transport Fair with a mix of fleet books, bus and train models, timetables, bus stops and various other public transport related items.

On Sunday it's off to Barry with a similar mix of stock, but with a Welsh and South West England bias.

Transport Past Times is the site for transport memorabilia and collectables.

It's not just fleet books and models thar we sell on the stall. From time to time all sorts of bus and train related bits may appear. Currently we have a few bus stop signs and some Underground station signs that will appear at various events as space allows.

After a long day yesterday travelling home from Liverpool via Glasgow to pick up a large collection of unboxed buses, I am now the owner of about 150 very good Code 3 Scottish buses. Many different companies. Coming to a bus rally near you soon!!!!!

Running a bit later than planned but final drafts for all four books have now been printed. If al is well, they will be on the website tomorrow.
The four books are :

North West Independents
Yorkshire Majors
Merseyside & Manchester Majors
Northern England Majors (basically everything else that isn't in the above two books).

The reason for the splits is to be ready for franchising in Liverpool, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.

As well as the Bee Network, the Manchester & Merseyside books contain details of routes out to tender for the Merseyside Metro franchises. As further details become known the book will be updated, possibly once the first Tranche has settled down and vehicle details are known.
