Saltburn Cliffs on the north east English coast at Sunsrise in the dying days of winter.
As sun rises, the early morning winter mist slides over the cliffs and out to sea, evaporating as it moves.

Check out my trek up through the mist of the north east English hills on to the edge of the moors to find clear sky's above the mist and trees.

I finally arrived at the Hanging Stone in Guisborough Forest and manged to get a drone in the air and fly it back down through the mist covered forest to capture some spectacular sights.

From here I continued across the cold moors and over to the next flight destination, the peak of High Cliff over looking Guisborough town where we captures some more epic shots.

🐬One of my favourite stills captured last year from the best piece of footage I managed to capture.

🐬I spent 8 months or more trying to be in the right pace at the right time to film the local dolphins and in the middle of summer, I finally caught up with a pod of around 15 at Saltburn beach for about 20 minutes before they went put of range.
I must re-upload the footage from my old Hillside Drones page to this one this week.

🐬I'm really hoping to capture some better footage of them this year and hopefully a whale as well.

I'm stuck in a rut.....I need something to happen with the weather to prise me out of it and get me out and about filming....all this rain and grey skies are boring.

I finally got round to finishing my YouTube video for my trek up to the top of Guisborough Forest in the north east English hills to put a drone up above the mist enveloped trees and hills.

I managed to capture some very dramatic and cool scenes.

The very busy and popular town of Whitby sitting right on the edge of the north east English coast is one of my favourite places to film and photograph, there's always something going.

Funfairs, whales, dolphins, outdoor concerts, beach ship wrecks, a busy harbour, Christmas Krampus parades, steam punk and gothic weekends, boat races, historic ruins and fireworks.
There's always something to see.

Heres a few stills I captured during the summer of 2025 while capturing footage for over on my YouTube channel, (link at the top of my page).

I'm looking forward to spending many hours here this summer......only a few months to go.

A couple of stills from my recent trek up through the snow and mist up to Captain Cooks Monument in the hills of north east England.

We've had another big batch of snow this week and I've got a week off work coming up so hopefully I'll be able to get up the hills again for some adventures and capture a load of new content.

Almost finished a block of 12 hour day shifts at work......nearly time to get out and about and capture some new content.
We've got snow again here in north east England so hopefully I can get out and get some cool footage.
