After two years of arranging and rearranging, the wedding of Emma and Chris took place yesterday and after a week of every weather season possible it settled on a glorious day for it. It was a fantastic wedding and I wish them both the very best for their future together as husband and wife.

Last night I was a guest (SHOCKED FACE) at a wedding, which is a very rare event. However, I was asked if I could still take a few photographs before the guests arrived of family/friends and of course the beautiful couple. Now when the bride is a very good friend and one of your favourite people of course the answer was going to be yes. Laura and Simon were not wanting any 'posy-posy' photos just a few together. It was lovely seeing my friend so happy and it is an even better feeling (now I know she likes the few photos that I took) knowing that she has some photographs to keep to remind her of this beautiful day. I wish you both nothing but the best of times together and thank you for inviting me to the wedding, it was kind of nice seeing it from a guest point of view, especially the dancefloor 😄

Last night I was asked to go along and capture some images for The Junction Foundation and their Resilience at Heart Project. The evening saw groups of young people present videos they had created around their lives, the struggles they had to endure and overcome and how The Junction Foundation was a massive part of that. It was a very personal set of videos which reminded us how there are people who have to overcome hurdles and deal with serious challenges every single day. I urge you to head across to The Junction's page and show your support for this charity.

Today's second pre-shoot was for the upcoming wedding of Steph and James, a bit windy on the coast and busy on the pier, I know it was my idea, but both of these guys were great and can't wait to shoot their wedding in a few weeks.

Fantastic day yesterday capturing Pia and Andrew's wedding at Rudby Hall they definitely had the weather and high spirits to make it a beautiful day. Thank you to Brendan Lewis for second shooting with me again, always awesome to work alongside you.

Yesterday saw me shoot my first pre-shoot of the year, with Pia and Andrew, who were fantastic and I cant wait to shoot their wedding next weekend. It was nice to be back behind the camera in wedding mode. Also with the beautiful surroundings of Hardwick Park everything came together nicely.
