I recently spent a few days photographing Tenuta d’Arbia in Tuscany, Italy 🇮🇹 and thought I’d share some creative Reel, carousel and Story ideas you can use for your next hotel shoot!

Booking this foodie heaven for you next holiday? 👀 🍝🍷🇮🇹

Some hotels you book for the rooms. Others you book for the food…and w**e 👀

Welcome to Tenuta d’Arbia, tucked away in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, where the food and dining experience are just as much of a reason to visit as the hotel itself! 🤌🏻

One of my favourite parts of the stay was getting a look inside the kitchen, watching the chefs prepare everything from cacio e pepe from scratch to fresh fish sizzling over the flames 🔥

And then, of course, getting to eat it all!

Think long Italian lunches, charcuterie with a drizzle of honey, beautifully presented dishes and finishing things off with an affogato or tiramisu (the best desserts). ☕🍨

And you can’t visit Tuscany without talking about the w**e! 🍷 The region is famous for Sangiovese, the grape behind some of Italy’s most celebrated reds, including Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino

A Negroni at the bar, a glass of red with dinner and some pretty incredible countryside views. Not a bad way to spend an evening!

What I loved most was how the food became part of the whole stay. From breakfast in the morning to drinks by the pool and dinner as the sun went down, there was always another excuse to sit down and enjoy something.

Literally a food photographers dream. The camera ate gooooood during the trip 😂📸

Creative Café & Brunch Photography Ideas (save for later) 📸🥐🍔

Getting creative on photoshoots is always a great idea (I mean it’s in the business name so kind of my speciality 🤌🏻)

A few ideas to try on your next café shoot:

🍔 Deconstruct the food — Separate ingredients to create something unexpected. Shows people exactly what’s involved and a really good content idea to highlight your produce

🪑 Change the location — Chairs aren’t just for sitting on! If you use the same table for all your content then you need to mix it up

🙌 Capture the process — Build dishes in front of the camera and photograph the action. A lot easier to do on the table than in the kitchen

📸 Experiment with perspectives — POV, flat lays, cross-sections and lifestyle angles.

☕ Get people involved — Use staff, hands and interactions to bring the food to life.

The aim? Create content that doesn’t just show what’s on the menu, but makes people want to order it! 🤤
