It's always good to get out and about when the wearher is nice. Today I visited Rutland Water, home to many different species of wildlife. This was a new lifer for me today, got to see a Eurasian Hobby for the first time. They are super fast small bird of prey that feeds on insects or even small birds like swallows or swifts.
This was was taking a brief pause in a tree nearby.

Throwback to seeing Puffins for the first time on the Isle of May in Scotland. 1 day I'll revisit that fantastic island.

If you have never visited I highly recommend it, not only Puffins but many many other sea birds call that Isle home throughout the Spring/Summer.
