I walked into the groom’s accommodation at Domaine des Andéols to find all these red details. There was no other option but to lean into it! Love the pop of colour!

F+K: Their idea for a Prague wedding didn’t go to plan, so they had a couples portrait session in Birmingham City Centre instead, followed by a meal with friends at home.

Would you believe these photos were taken during the European Athletics Championship? Town was full of people and teams, but we somehow managed to get some romantic and quiet images instead.

C+M wanted a timeless city hall wedding style vibe and decided to have a couples portrait session in Birmingham City Centre before their Birmingham Register Office ceremony.

I LOVE a weekday registry wedding with a good portrait session! And don’t worry about feeling awkward in front of the camera, I’ll get you to focus on each other more than me with small prompts to help you get your vision (but no hours of posing, I want your photos to capture you, your wedding and your relationship).

They got married at (thanks for the ceremony!) and then had a portrait session in the city centre before heading off to a gorgeous meal with their close family.

Can you believe these two aren’t a model couple? B+Y looked effortlessly cool at their Bredenbury Court Barns Wedding Venue wedding (and so did their guests!).

Gorgeous venue but the way!

I love couples who do weddings their way: from small and intimate registry weddings to a multi-continent/several celebration extravaganza these two did (Jamaican elopement, UK reception and a final gathering in Tanzania!). What are your ideas for your wedding?

Want to know what my short wedding coverage is like?

Here is a two hour city wedding in Birmingham in 20 seconds: with a little drinks reception at , a couples portrait session in the city centre, a ceremony at and some quick group shots after.

Plenty of time to capture a small registry wedding and get some epic pictures, because a small wedding doesn’t mean you have to compromise.

L+L were a blast! And they even stopped for a cheeky at before their ceremony… all nerves were quelled!

Sometimes the weather doesn’t want to help. But a clear or white umbrella and hiding under some tree cover hugging away the wet and the cold can bring about the most beautiful photos.

B+L’s fun-filled day at Hogarths Independent UK Hotel - Solihull had a few downpours, but I don’t think any of us really noticed! And I’ll forever giggle at the “Addams Family” (Adams family in this case!) entry music at the meal entrance.
