How to prep for your newborn session when you're running on 2 hours of sleep & coffee? Well first of all you are doing AMAZING! Secondly your session doesn't require you to have everything all together, that's what I'm here for.

What really matters is that you're in the photos! You don't need to have perfect hair, you don't need to be wearing make and you really don't need to worry about having the most fantastic outfit, because when your child has grown & looks back at these photos all they will see is the love in your eyes.

I encourage them to run, play, collect sticks, kick leaves and have a cuddle when they need one. That's what my sessions are all about, capturing your family as you really are.

What to wear for your autumn family photos? 🍂

My biggest tip? Don't overthink it!
Think cosy, comfortable and colours that feel like autumn, warm browns, creams, rusts, greens, mustard and earthy tones all work beautifully.

You don't need everyone matching. In fact, I prefer when you don't! Choose colours that work together and let everyone's personality come through.

And make sure the kids can move, run and play comfortably.

Cosy jumpers, boots, dungarees, dresses, layers… anything that feels like your family.
Because the best outfits are the ones you actually feel comfortable being yourselves in.

Because honestly? You look incredible.

Whether you’re dressed up in a gorgeous goddess gown, rocking your favourite jeans, in the studio or out in nature, it doesn’t matter.

That beautiful motherhood glow is always there & my job is just to make sure you see it too.
