Back in July I was asked by Cowan Architects to take some photographs of their expert witnesses as they needed a set of group portraits to use on their new website and send out in press and info packs…. So we looked for a suitable background as we needed to fit in seven people into the shot and their studio and offices weren’t really suitable as a backdrop. Luckily one of the studio partners found a newly built wall that was just round the corner from her house that would enable me to have enough space to photograph all seven of the expert witnesses… They wanted to a set of less formal pictures and so after I’d taken the pictures that I needed to fulfill the brief I suggested that they just talk to each other whilst I took pictures and that should make for some more candid and relaxed photos…..

Earlier this year I photographed the new OffSpring store in my hometown of Bristol for Seabrook Studio and we took a series of photographs of the new stores interiors and several exteriors showing the store’s design and clean layout by Seabrook studio and the neon signage by Prolight Design who contacted me after shoot and bought a set of images for use on their website and SM and Press use. It’s always good to find out who the contractors are on these type of shoots as I make a few more sales, but it also means that the suppliers and contractors on a project can get a set of images of their products at a more cost effective price than they would normally. I also enjoy speaking to the suppliers and contractors and finding out what they have done on a project.

Looking forward to working with Ben at Seabrook studio in the autumn on some new projects….

Environmental portraits and portraits, but especially portraits of people showing their environments and trying to convey what they do for a living, wether that be a fund manager, a ceramicist or a designer. I love to show people in their settings and workspaces/studios and workshops.

Earlier on this year I was commissioned by Dury Comunications in Dublin to photograph the STEM workshops that Henkels sponsored at Maple Grove Primary school in Hartfordshire…

I had a wonderful time working with the two instructors and seeing the children take part and be involved and engaging with the workshops was great.

Some recent portraits that I did for the senior management at at their House of Beauty meeting rooms in London. I was asked to take some classic white background headshots along with some more relaxed portraits of them and decided to use one of the boardrooms that had a great display of on the wall behind them…..

At the end of April I was asked by Unilever to photograph the Home Care one event at their beautiful location in PortSunlight as they were having a two day conference, dinner and on the finial day a cocktail party at a venue in Liverpool. I was Also asked to set up a small pop up studio in the room adjacent to the main hall with the conference stage in to photograph anyone who wanted a new company headshot and business portrait taken for their company and SM profiles online.

I had a lovely time meeting and photographing the team members who had flown in especially for the conference from various locations around the world.

At the end of last month I was asked by business coach and mentor Marco Soares to take a series of new portraits of him as he needed to update his website and SM channels.

We decided on using a well know London landmark as the background and location for the shoot….

At the end of last month I was asked by Unilever to document their Home Care conference and event at their Port Sunlight Centre up in the Wirral near Liverpool.
Over two days I photographed the conference,
An evening dinner, a walking tour of PortSunlight, a cocktail party in Liverpool on the final evening and set up a small pop up studio in the area along from the main conference stage so that any delegates could get a new headshot of themselves whilst I was there.
