We have been raising funds for Guide Dogs for over 3 years through The National Portrait Awards and our own North East Dog Portrait Competition to name and sponsor a guide dog puppy through its first year of training. 🚨 GEORGE’S ADVENTURES – CASE FILE No.11 🚨

Another week… another mystery.

This time someone appears to have helped themselves to an entire packet of biscuits.

George insists he was simply carrying out “a routine inspection” and was only hiding behind the cabinet to keep an eye on the investigation.

Police say the evidence tells a very different story… 😂

📰🐾 BREAKING NEWS FROM SPRINGWELL 🐾📰

🍦 THE MISSING ICE CREAM INCIDENT 🍦

Springwell has been rocked by yet another suspicious incident… and unfortunately, one familiar face has found himself at the centre of the investigation again1 👀

During the recent warm weather, an innocent ice cream was left unattended for what witnesses describe as “literally two seconds.”

When they returned…

🍦 Ice cream — GONE.
🐾 George — PRESENT.
😇 George — claiming to know absolutely NOTHING about it.

Investigators immediately brought George in for questioning.

When asked where the missing ice cream had gone, George declined to comment. He did, however, lick his lips several times and stare hopefully towards the freezer.

Evidence against George includes:

🐾 Being suspiciously close to the scene
🐾 A well-documented interest in anything edible
🐾 An extremely guilty-looking face
🐾 Absolutely no believable alibi whatsoever

George continues to maintain his innocence and claims he was merely “in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

His legal representative has issued the following statement:

“My client is a Labrador. Being hungry is not a crime.”

The investigation remains ongoing.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant, secure all frozen treats and under NO circumstances leave an ice cream unattended in George’s presence.
