So in November last year I finished work and we moved from our little weavers cottage in West Yorkshire to live in Filey on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. It was a massive move for us, lots of changes, but we we’re up for the challenge. I’d not picked up my paints in a while but I’ve now joined Filey Art Society and I feel inspired; every Monday morning I get to do what I love best, and to do it with some lovely like minded folk. Today is their first art exhibition of the year and I got to display some of my work. I’m hoping that this will spur me on to start working on new pieces, watch this space…
