Would you believe this hidden spot is right here in Cornwall? 🌿✨

Moments like this are why I’ll never stop exploring with my camera.

I discovered Kennel Vale last Thursday on a glorious sunny Spring afternoon. The warm sunshine was beaming through the trees and glistening on the water. The fast flowing river tumbled down the valley inbetween long forgotten, ivy clad stone buildings of the old gunpowder works. A trully hidden Cornish gem.

This is me - Holding the most important tool of my trade.

My DSLR Canon 6D Mark ii camera with my 24mm - 70 mm lens. I have had this camera for 5 years now. I have shot weddings in country houses, seascapes from narrow coastal paths and young children in a field of tulips with this camera. It is a true work horse and I love it. However I trully hate the phase 'Thats a really good photo, you must have a really fancy camera'. Like any artist I have had to spend years learning my craft and developing my style to be able to use my camera and assortment of lens to create beautiful photographs. Like any artist you have to master your tools to create works of art that others enjoy. Photography is no different.
