Yesterday Morning's photoshoot really resonated with me. Having lost my beautiful Cookie less than two weeks before I knew I could do this wonderful partnership justice. Nadine and her 12 year old rescue Zoe.
We met for the shoot early in a park in Harpenden, Zoe is very wary of other dogs so we found the quieter spots and dodged other dog walkers. The love between these two was undeniable, capturing the bond and the relationship is imperative. A dogs life is so short and every photo during that time counts. I took pictures of Cookie on nearly every single walk, a lot of the time just phone pictures, but it doesn't matter, they are memories, I have thousands. Every dog in my life has been and is precious, but there is always that one sould dog. So to capture this long term friendship in an hour, the emotion, it was easy and effortless. To have this relationship with a dog, you are truly blessed.
