Hi, my name is Amyleigh.

Here are some things about me:

🐶I'm Zelly's Hoomum and she's got me wrapped around her little (big) paws!

🐾 I have always loved dogs. (I even have a half sleeve dedicated to the dogs I grew up with.) All my dogs have been rescue. My personal preference is to adopt instead of shop. At the moment, rescues are under a lot of pressure. There are so many dogs out there in need of homes both in the UK and abroad. Many have never experienced any kindness or compassion and need that second chance.

🐕 My favourite breed: I love a good mixed breed. Especially Rommie dogs... ooh they have my heart - thanks Zelly! Barney, Mollie and Zelly are all mixed breeds. Minx is the only full breed.

📍I'm from Leeds and now live in Herefordshire.

🤓 The running joke when I was growing up was that my name is 'Amyleigh, no spaces, no dashes, no hyphens, no nowt' - because *everyone* gets it wrong!

⚽️ I used to play football and was fortunate enough to play a tournament at Leeds United's training grounds - a big deal as a Leeds fan who grew up down the road from the stadium.

✋ I'm one of the few Left-handed people in the family. In fact, I'm the only left-handed woman in the family. I'm also the tallest.

🎸 My favourite band is Shinedown

🎤 A song I currently have on repeat is: Saint Cecilia, Foo Fighters

🐾 I have always been easily distracted by dogs. There's a picture somewhere of me at a car show, laying on the floor taking a picture of a dog!

Zelly is the inspiration for this new venture. This means that she is rightfully crowned as our Chief Fluffy Officer. It could be said that Zelly is the brains behind this operation.

Some facts about Zelly:

🐾 She's a 2-year-old Romanian Rescue

Her top five favourite foods are:

🥜 - Peanut Butter
🐟 - Fish Treats
🍉 - Watermelon
🥕 - Carrots
🍅 - Tomatoes

🥎 Her favourite game is tug of war

🧸 She often carries a stuffed toy up to bed with her

🐶 She loves a good belly rub, but I suspect she thinks b***y scratchies are life!
