I haven’t shared much business or session work publicly lately — not because the sessions haven’t mattered (I’ve had some truly wonderful ones), but because over time I’ve become a little quieter about how I approach social media and my business.
These days, I’m far less interested in constantly posting for visibility, and much more interested in simply creating meaningful work for the people who trust me with their lives and stories, and sharing it when it genuinely feels right to do so.
And this one felt right.
The timing was perfect. The bluebells were out, the light was beautiful, and these two very special people are stepping into such a significant new season of life together. It all came together so naturally and beautifully.
Rihannah looked absolutely radiant, and despite Sam briefly attempting to steal some of the attention last week with an emergency appendix removal, these photographs still feel full of gentleness, excitement, and that quiet anticipation that comes just before life changes forever.
There’s something incredibly special about photographing people on the edge of becoming new parents. A kind of magic in knowing that an entirely new chapter is about to begin in the best possible way.
