FAQs:
🙋♂️ What are your Xmas-themed taster session?
The are 30-minute long sessions for dogs on a Christmas-themed setup (backdrop and props). They take place in a studio environment (indoors, using professional studio lighting). Dogs must be able to sit and wait on command.
We offer a unique package price of £50, including the session and 3 digital images.
This is the early bird price. Grab your spot before 3 October at midnight UK time! After that, the price will increase to £60.
⚠️ Please note: We require full payment ahead to secure your booking. This payment is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you want to cancel or are late to your session and miss it, we will be unable to reimburse you.
🙋♂️ What happens to my payment if you cancel because there aren't enough participants?
We require a minimum number of participants to proceed with these taster sessions.
We will require full payment to secure your spot.
However, if we need to cancel due to an insufficient number of participants, we will reimburse you the full amount by 31st October at the latest.
🙋♂️ Is the 1st of November the only date you have?
For now, yes. Our sessions are available on a first-come-first served-basis and capped at 12 bookings. If you weren't able to grab a spot, please email us to let us know. If enough people are interested, we may be able to add another date.
🙋♂️ Can I be late?
The short answer is no. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
Please note that if you are late, we cannot extend your session, as there will be someone else coming after you.
If you are too late and missed your session, we will not be able to do your session, and we will not be able to refund your money as we use it to pay for the event.
🙋♂️ What if my dog is nervous?
Studio environments aren’t for every dog, as they are small-ish and contain props and flashing lights (not suitable for epileptic dogs!)
Dogs must be able to sit and wait on command and hold their wait even with you stepping away a few yards.
If your dog cannot hold a sit and wait, it’s not the end of the world; you can always book one of our longer outdoor sessions, where they can run around and be themselves. These studio sessions simply wouldn’t be suitable for them. If in doubt, get in touch.
🙋♂️ When will I get my images?
The session takes place on 1st November.
A few days after the session, you'll receive a link by email to your preview online gallery.
You'll then have 1 week to select the images and any extra products you want (so you get them on time for Xmas!). Digital images will be accessible online.
Add-on cards and prints will be either delivered by us or by post.
🙋♂️ Will there be other people and dogs at the same session?
Each session lasts 30 minutes. Hopefully, everyone arrives on time so there is no clash but at any rate, the venue is a doggy daycare centre and has a separate room and hallway to the main area.
Please note that if you are late, we cannot extend your session, as there will be someone else coming after you.
If you are too late and missed your session, we will not be able to do your session, and we will not be able to refund your money as we use it to pay for the event.
🙋♂️ I have more than one dog. Does it matter?
These sessions take place in a relatively small studio environment. We can accommodate up to 3 small dogs (e.g. chihuahuas) / 2 medium dogs (e.g. French bulldogs) / 1 large dog (e.g. GSD). Giant breeds may fit, depending on how well they can hold a sit/down. Get in touch if you are unsure of how suitable these sessions might be for your doggy.
💡 Please note: Mixed-breeds more than welcome! The breeds above are just for an idea of size.
🙋♂️ Should my dog wear anything?
If you want "natural" images in the end, we recommend using a thin collar instead of a harness. Leads and thin collars are much easier to edit out than huge harnesses. But if you want to make it a feature, by all means feel free to use your favourite collar, harness or even Xmas jumper!
🙋♂️ I want to be on the photos with my dog. Can I?
Absolutely! We even encourage you to have photographs taken with your best friend.
Most of us have hundreds (if not thousands) of images of our dog on our phone, but very few of us and our dog together!
Feel free to wear your best Xmas jumper as well!
