SUPPORT A SMALL BUSINESS 🙌🏽

We’re backing the campaign to reduce VAT for hospitality businesses from 20% to 10%. Tom Kerridge

But this isn’t just a hospitality issue.

It’s a small business issue. Federation of Small Businesses - FSB

Across the UK, thousands of hardworking small business owners are facing rising costs, increasing overheads and a tax system that many feel no longer reflects the reality of running a business today.

We’re also supporting the many businesses operating under the Flat Rate VAT Scheme, who continue to face significant VAT costs despite mounting financial pressures.

We’re seeing more and more independent businesses choosing to close their doors, scale back their ambitions, or decide that the stress, risk and financial pressure of running a business is no longer worth it.

When increasing numbers of good businesses are closing, something isn’t working.

Small businesses create jobs, support local economies, sponsor community events, work with schools and charities, and keep our towns thriving.

We’ve written to our local MP Jon Pearce MP for High Peak because we believe it’s time for a serious review of how VAT impacts small businesses.

This isn’t about avoiding tax.

It’s about creating a system that encourages businesses to grow, invest, employ people and contribute to their communities without feeling penalised for doing so.

We support calls for a reduction in VAT for hospitality, and we’d like to see the same conversation extended to the thousands of small businesses operating under the Flat Rate VAT Scheme.

💙NEWBORN FAMILY SESSIONS 💙

A newborn.
Two big brothers.
And absolutely no chance of a quiet photo session. 😄
There were cuddles, questions, a bit of running around, somebody pulling faces, somebody wanting to hold the baby every five minutes, and somehow, amongst all of that, some lovely photographs.
That's the thing about family sessions.
You don't need everyone sitting perfectly still and smiling on command.
The best photos usually happen somewhere in between.
