Today was a milestone I’ll always remember.
At 15, and almost 16, I felt my daughter had truly reached the point where she was ready for her very first mobile phone. She has handled the social pressure of being one of the few in her friendship group without one incredibly well, showing patience, maturity, and understanding along the way. That made this milestone feel even more meaningful.
I wanted to make the occasion extra special, so being able to give it to her at a Red Bull Racing Watch Party made it a memory we’ll both cherish. Seeing her excitement wasn’t just about the phone - it was about recognising her maturity, celebrating another step towards independence, and sharing a special moment together.
Working in the events industry means I spend my days creating memorable experiences for others.
Today, I got to experience one myself with my daughter, and it reminded me how fortunate I am to work in an industry that creates moments like this, both professionally and personally.
