I can’t believe I haven’t shared any images from this glorious day at . A space filled with plants 🌱 and dreamy natural light. This was a day to feed the soul and fill my creative cup and oh my, it didn’t disappoint. I love these intimate shots of the beautiful .pearson.photography and her little one with the light gently dancing over their skin.

Hey all 👋🏻

The lovely .pearson.photography sent me over this portrait of me from the glorious Wild Women Hackney event last month. So I gave it a little sprinkling of edit and thought I’d use it to say hey!

I’ve had a few new faces popping up, so for those of me who don’t know me here are some fun(ish) fast facts.

✨ I’m Kate - Mama to two little people who fill my life with joy, pride, laughter mixed in with a dash insanity and a large dollop of chaos.
✨I live in Hitchin - A gorgeous vibrant town full to the brim of creatives and coffee shops. Heaven.
✨ I am obsessed with documenting and preserving the now, my poor kids are constantly chased around with a camera. This is where my passion for creating lasting memories for other families began.
✨My absolute favourite thing to shoot is outdoor maternity, this lights my soul on fire and never fails to fill me with awe at the beauty and capabilities of the human body.
✨I have a passion for interior design and am constantly faffing with styling my home. My poor husband is never without a DIY to do list.
✨I have lots of exciting new projects coming up, so watch this space, especially if you are local to Hitchin.

I’ve had a unexpectedly quiet day at home today. Just what I needed to take my time looking over all of the wonderful moments captured yesterday at and digest all of the new learning gained.

A newborn session is not only an opportunity to capture your beautiful new baby in all their new, squidgy, sleepy glory. It is also an experience. A chance for you to pause for a moment. A moment to take it all in. A moment all about you and them.
