Week #1 of 2026. Started off peacefully, ended with a slightly brutal return to school and work. Reading, frosty walks with friends, so much time with my gals, cards games in Cambridge pubs, more reading, cosy home days, 0% ales for dry Jan. Oh, and apparently now I have a ten year old.

How life slows down, and oh boy how it speeds up again. Trying to hang onto it, one iPhone snap at a time…

18 months in and my little house is starting to resemble the bohemian, witchy, jungalow palace of my dreams.

I don’t miss living in a big house, way too much to clean and way too expensive to heat. There’s a lot to love about living smaller. Not least how cosy it is as the days darken.

My house was rented for ten years before I bought it, and I dare say not had much attention for the 5-10 years before that. Being on a limited budget means everything takes time and hard graft, but the waiting and working makes it all so much sweeter.

Current projects: painting the kitchen, utility and downstairs loo. Replacing light fittings, hanging pictures and updating curtains. Near future project that I am very excited about: taking up the horrid old carpets and sanding the wooden floors.

This is one of my favourite corners of the house. My gardening, plants and witchy bookshelf. Always a source of inspiration! Spot the 👻

Wow, what an incredible year it has been - I’ve pulled myself out of survival mode and dare I say it…even begin to thrive a little 💕 I am beyond grateful to everyone who trusted me to capture their vision this year. You stories, your boldness and your authenticity inspire me every day. You are all beautiful, magical and so worthy of celebrating!

As of today, my books are officially CLOSED for 2024.

If you’re dreaming up something magical for 2025, I’m taking bookings for the first half of the year already so please get in touch. Let’s make it a bigger and braver year than ever! 🌱✨

Until then, thank you from the depths of my heart for being part of my journey. Your support, kindness and encouragement while I have navigated a difficult few years means so much to me.

It has been a good long while since I've posted on here, but now that life has settled down into a peaceful rhythm again after a turbulent couple of years I am able to have the energy and head space to take the marketing side of my business a little more seriously. Times are tougher and tougher for creative freelancers, we all have to work that little bit harder to be seen and to reach the dreamy clients we long to work with.

I thought I'd make a start by sharing a few of the images from some recent sessions I've been lucky enough to shoot. It really is a joy to do the work that I do, and I'm so lucky that such special people choose me to take their photographs. My hope is always to empower, encourage and inspire you to step in front of my lens and see yourself as the unique, beautiful and powerful human that you are!
