Digging out some shots that never saw the light of day. Back then, I was shooting for a different sponsor, so I never had an outlet to share them, but they tell what shaped up to be an iconic story.

The finale of the 2011 season. It all came down to vs , with whoever finished ahead taking the title. They swapped positions five times on the final lap alone. Unreal racing and atmosphere at .

I was set up at the end of the pit straight, looking over Paddock Hill with a glimpse back to the start/finish. With hindsight, I should have been better prepared for such a close finish, but I still managed to grab the shot the moment Hill crossed the line, sealing the title by just 0.006 seconds.

I really hope I get the opportunity to get back trackside in 2026.
