Just a little reminder that SLC Imagery is a one-woman show 🤠

If I can’t answer your call straight away, it’s usually because I’m on another shoot giving someone else the same time and attention I’ll give you.

There’s this narrative around being an independent business owner that you’re always available. Always online. Always on call.
And the truth is; you can message me whenever you like.

But I might not always reply instantly.

SLC Imagery is just me. I’ve been running it for two and a half years now, and I’m so proud of what it’s become… but I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring out how to balance ambition with being human.

If I don’t answer straight away, I’m probably shooting, editing, driving, or switching off for a bit so I can show up properly the next day.

I promise I care. I promise I’ll always get back to you.. sometimes that just means later that day or the next working day.

I can’t be everywhere at once (yet 😉), but I give everything I have to the clients I’m with.

Thank you for your patience, your trust, and for keeping me busy.

I’m learning that boundaries don’t make you less committed, they make you better at what you do😌

Kitchens Kitchens Kitchens!!! 🥳

✨ A little full-circle moment ✨
One of my first ever clients and two years later, I got to go back and photograph their brand new kitchen showroom in Henley-on-Thames. I still remember how proud I was of the photos I took for them back then for their first showroom in Basingstoke, but being able to showcase how far both of us have come honestly means so much 🥹 Their launch day on Saturday was beautiful, and I can’t wait to share more from that soon 💫

✨ A little full-circle moment ✨
One of my first ever clients - two years later, I got to go back and photograph their brand new kitchen showroom in Henley-on-Thames. Well well well… 2 years!!! And yes, this post is fashionably* late (would you expect anything less?😅)

In that time I’ve learned more than I ever thought I would, about houses, people, and also how much coffee it actually takes to run your own business🧋

What started as an idea has turned into something I’m so proud of. When I look back at the work I completed 2 years ago, I can’t help but cringe a little (and I’m sure in another 2 years I’ll feel the same about what I’m creating now)… character development, right? 🥲😅🥴

From meeting incredible clients who trusted me even back then, to working on some dream properties, to the moments where I wonder if I regret doing this (not that often, don’t worry)
it’s been a ride 👀

HUGE thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way… whether you’ve trusted me to showcase your homes, cheered me on when I doubted myself, or just put up with my constant laughing, delusional energy, and never-ending property chat. Some of you have had to listen to me obsess over bay windows and kitchens like they’re works of art, others have seen me so overexcited mid-shoot I can’t stop talking, and a few of you have had me in absolute laughing fits where holding the camera steady was questionable at best (big thanks to my editor for somehow always being able to make my work look so good). Honestly, it means the world to have clients (and now friends) who make this job what it is🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Here’s to the next 2 (and probably many more walls, kitchens, and windows I’ll get unreasonably excited about) 🥳🥳
